Vitamin D contributes to bone health, to the normal functioning of the immune system and muscle function.
More than 80% of people do not receive the recommended amount of vitamin D, and several studies show that the risk of infection doubles when vitamin D levels are below 30 μg/ml (25-OH vitamin D3).
A 5000 I.U. supplement weekly for eight weeks is recommended to correct these deficiencies.
