Vascorin® Arginine PLUS contains L-arginine base, folic acid, vitamin B6 and vitamin B12.
The interaction of these nutrients provides support for disorders of the vascular system, such as endothelial dysfunction, increased homocysteine levels, or mild increase in blood pressure.
Folic acid, vitamin B6 and vitamin B12 keep homocysteine at a constant level. This improves the uptake of L-arginine into cells as well as the synthesis of nitric oxide (NO) from L-arginine.
L-arginine base consists of at least 98% L-arginine.
The pH value is from 10.5 to 12 according to international specifications and is considered to be very digestible.

Homocysteine is a metabolic product that leads to deposits, called plaques, in vascular tissue when quantities are too high. At the same time, it inhibits the formation of nitric oxide, which can cause vascular constriction and, consequently, high blood pressure and arteriosclerosis. In the case of circulatory disorders, blood can no longer flow unhindered through the arteries. The result is an insufficient supply of oxygen and nutrients to limbs and/or organs.

Sufficient amounts of folic acid, vitamin B6 and B12 keep the homocysteine level in balance. Nitric oxide can only be produced in the human body from L-arginine. Vascorin® Arginin PLUS contains only high quality and well tolerated ingredients. L-Arginine base with a pH value of 10.5 to 12 is considered very digestible and consists of 98% pure amino acid. The body’s own bioactive form, methylcobalamin, is also used for vitamin B12. Vitamin B6 and folic acid are also contained. A regular supply of these micronutrients is not only helpful for vascular diseases, but it can also have a positive effect on the homocysteine level.
